Though born into a world that held tightly to race segregation, Seymour's ministry gave a glimpse of heaven where people of 'every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation' forever worship God together (Revelation 5:9). And though Seymour's childhood included Hoodoo cult influences, he grew into a man who sought only the power and glory of God most high. The author's method of study includes educated sources such as theological commentaries, lexicons, secular and religious reference books, journals, newspapers, the internet and personal interviews. The conclusion the author reaches is that the debate centered on biblical interpretation of scripture is subjective to one's Christian faith persuasion. The biblically orthodox Christian faith belief opposes homosexuality and supports the traditional family value system. The unorthodox Christian viewpoint favors a revisionist theology that redefines homosexual practice as ordained by God and therefore morally acceptable. Then, it examines scholarly resources and those intended for lay persons to discover the topics which need to be addressed. Muslim attitudes toward Christianity are analyzed as expressed in the literature of the period and in a field study conducted in 2011-2012. The theme of God's saving victory is identified as an aid in helping Muslims understand the Bible. Jesus' person and work are explained in terms that are more comprehensible to Muslims. Muslim attitudes toward Egypt's Christians are explored.
