Major problem areas identified include the language used to describe biblical holiness and how to apply the subject to contemporary audiences. To address these problems a model continuing education course was designed and presented. Both pre- and postcourse evaluations of participants were conducted. Four major components of the worship service were identified and described.  The fourth component, a sense of the holiness of God, was developed by a review of various authors and Bible passages dealing with the concept. The development of a proposed model worship service resulted from a questionnaire, sermons, and congregational consultations.
