Surveys and interviews of new believers, mature believers and leaders revealed that growing churches, randomly chosen, have members who invite widely and, particularly, those whom the Spirit is drawing. Visitors are struck by the welcome, the fellowship, the worship, and a sense of connecting with God. The frequency and range of church kitchen use was studied by surveys and interviews of 29 churches across 10 denominations. Kitchen operations, food preparation, kitchen utility, and the connections between the kitchen and the pulpit were studied.
