Seen together, these elements demonstrate the Bible's unifying message that God has and will finally triumph over Satan, sin and death--all matters of chaos--through the person and saving work of Jesus Christ.  It is precisely because of God's work through Jesus Christ that He can and is restoring His created order and believing humanity back to His original intended purposes. Employing anthropological and biblical perspectives, this project analyzes four religious beliefs and practices that prevent acceptance of Christianity among Ashantis, finding that a major problem is the traditional Ashanti concept of God as remote, unapproachable, and unavailable in times of crisis.
