The author led this group through prayer, study, and dialogue to an articulation of the Commission's objectives and the implementation of those objectives in ecumenical activity. The written project cites some scriptural bases for unity and quotes the calls to ecumenism made by many Christian churches. The strategy was 1) cable tv spreads the Christian message, and 2) personal contacts help make it believable.  The writer read in the areas of cable technology, communications, and evangelism.  Other research included interviews and workshops at a video conference.  Measuring the response of the viewers to the cable program was difficult. Laypersons were not mobilized sufficiently.  No known commitment to Christ resulted.
