This thesis will introduce a new paradigm for understanding the issue by incorporating the dimensions of demographics and church organizational development. These factors determine in part the potential range of English Ministry development in the Chinese immigrant church. Solutions to mitigate tensions are based on the concept of formulating appropriate expectations that are specific to the church's developmental stage. The first phase explored the fields of multigenerational worship and strategic planning. The first part of the second phase required the project director to equip the pastoral staff of FBCM in the basic skills of strategic planning and to inform them concerning the dynamics of multigenerational worship. The second part of the second phase required the project director to lead the pastoral staff team to develop a strategy to transition FBCM from venue worship to a multigenerational worship model. Phase three resulted in the deacon fellowship and church council of FBCM approving the strategic plan and the time line for implementation. Younger generations will need to fill the inevitable void in congregational leadership that comes with time. To affect the transfer of leadership from one generation to another, the current leaders need to be prepared to share the leadership with people who see the world differently. The researcher conducted a congregational survey and analyzed responses from two focus group interviews. This project assessed how a leadership retreat and an adult education seminar affected the participants' attitudes and behaviors regarding the transfer of leadership to younger generations. This was accomplished by developing an integrated discipleship strategy for young people, parents, and senior citizens to collaborate on biblical mandates and other resources to transform all of their lives spiritually. Resources included literary research, youth minister interviews, and two decades of youth ministry experience. This project focuses on how to craft our worship of God so it reflects, honors, and includes multiple generations. This report uses generational theory to explore how the characteristics of various generations gathered as a congregation impact the choices made about the form and content of worship. It offers a survey of relevant literature as well as a plan for using a multigenerational peer group to lead workshops and craft worship
