The process describes the journey to spiritual maturity following the model of human development from infancy to adulthood. The practice describes efforts which foster spiritual growth through a personal relationship where an older believer assists a person younger in the faith. Tremendous spiritual potential exists within many congregations in the lives of older saints to help others develop spiritually. Obstacles must be overcome to link older and younger men and thereby promote spiritual fathering. Spiritual fathering will access those needs and offer insights to promote such a ministry."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31b95ee0-a31c-43dc-8ec9-d97b30239a2d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132049025794048,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:57:12.448Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:59:41Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:30:34Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"61e14254-9e0d-47a2-9a74-97192a94f5d0","accessControl_ssim":["13cde1eb-eed3-448b-a6c2-2cd17daaa12d"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["An identification and evaluation of the traits necessary for a healthy marriage where one spouse has a long-term, non-terminal, physical disability"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:59:38Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:59:46Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["cde48995-59e3-476c-a163-dfda8d755d86"],"hasLease_ssim":["1d9f6edc-ed77-4017-a2bc-7e07ddece79f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Dallas Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Charles W Dickens"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gregory A Hattberg"],"publisher_tesim":["Dallas Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Interpersonal relations","Communication--Psychological aspects","Commitment (Psychology)","Marriage--Religious aspects--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study seeks to answer the following research questions: What traits are necessary to produce a healthy relationship in a couple where one spouse has a long-term, non-terminal physical disability and what is characteristic of those traits? These are questions that began to identify and evaluate the traits in healthy couples. While many studies focus on factors that negatively affect marriages, this study will center on those traits that are seen to strengthen a marriage. Two methods of research were used. First, non-experimental, descriptive quantitative surveys to qualify healthy couples. Second, qualitative, personal interviews were conducted with the healthy couples. Commitment and communication are necessary traits for a healthy marriage with commitment being more essential. Commitment and communication are essential but no indication of which is more important."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Dallas Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["8322f611-a593-413a-8bcd-0011fba52dc7"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791130376282832896,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:30:37.196Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:35:35Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:20:39Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"4d886535-5733-4f2f-ba27-f2688aa3d509","accessControl_ssim":["55495397-82ba-469a-95c0-b2a50fb3edd9"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Developing social capital between Christians through covenant discipleship groups"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T15:35:35Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T00:24:39Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["b89cd612-60d2-4c6f-92a0-6dffe3b29ae9"],"hasLease_ssim":["2cf732f6-afe6-47de-bb44-9623fa60f55c"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["David R Osborn"],"year_tesim":["2013"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Richard E Englehardt"],"publisher_tesim":["Denver Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Interpersonal relations","Contentment","Church group work"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This study explored the effect of building social capital between persons in Covenant Discipleship Groups on spiritual, personal, and interpersonal well being.
