God has commanded Christians to love others.  Love must be demonstrated through behavior, and behaviors are learned through opportunity and practice.  This project gives participants a format which facilitates such practice.  The major method to accomplish the thesis is a devotional guide which daily highlights a characteristic of love, and provides opportunity for participants to contract ways to demonstrate that characteristic. The chaplain asked fifty-two students to form nine counseling groups focusing on their interpersonal conflicts.  In six sessions they were trained to use an ethical model to resolve their conflicts. Research indicated significant experience of positive collegial relationships with male and female peers and supervisors.  Women most active in the Association indicated the greatest positive experience and the highest level of concern about collegial issues. Research gathered demographic data and identified historical dynamics about the entrance and increasing participation of women in AAPC. Two tests were administered to the seminar group. The Intrinsic/Extrinsic scale designed by Gordon Allport was given to measure religious orientation.  A test designed by Howard Garfinkel was administered to measure the increase in differentiation of self from one's family of origin. Development involved assimilating the information to be taught and utilizing a teaching method which would help the participants remember and appropriate the knowledge later.  Implementation included five two-hour sessions using word models which were defined, illustrated and supported by Scripture.  High retention of the information proved this method to be an effective means of helping people remember.
