Despite Fatima’s widely revered status, her life and contributions have often been overshadowed or misinterpreted, both by Western Orientalist scholarship and through the cultural practices of some Muslim societies. Through a detailed exploration of Fatima’s spiritual, social, and familial roles, this study reveals her as a powerful exemplar of female leadership, resilience, and piety. It addresses how Fatima’s life reshapes paradigms related to gender dynamics, social class, lineage, and race, offering a compelling model of female agency rooted in Islamic values. By highlighting Fatima’s education, public service, advocacy, and unwavering moral stance, the research demonstrates her enduring influence as a guiding figure for Muslim women today.
