The author researched the result using surveys before and after studying Hanukkah Bible Study. The results were that the Hanukkah Bible Study 101 and 201 influenced a positive effect in participants' faith and their church life, as well as improvement in the church's ministry. In order to do so, the author made efforts to establish the essence and purpose of the class meeting by exploring the theological background of the class meeting from the Wesleyan perspective. The author also tried to find the reason for the revitalization and degeneration of the class meeting by studying the history of the class meetings in the Anglican, the American, and the Korean Methodist churches, respectively.
