The right character for Christians was assessed from the nine fruits of the Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23, from which a weekly training program was actualized using lectures and sharing in small groups. Project results showed that the character of trained lay leaders showed improvements manifested in the leadership. I establish a seminar for worship servants. The assessment of the project included the administration of both a pre-test and a post-test questionnaire. The goal with the highest results revealed an increased awareness of listening as an active form of communication. Increased awareness as to the role active listening plays in achieving successful outcomes was also noted. To ascertain these practices the author studied the biblical and theological foundations of preaching and leadership and historic and contemporary voices in the tradition of Reformed Presbyterianism and Westminster Theological Seminary. The author used qualitative, social research methods and semistructured interviews were conducted. The data was collected from five churches in Taiwan that have over one thousand people attending worship services each week. Each of the five churches has a distinct church culture. A system of assimilation was implemented to encourage non-members to join Driscoll Boulevard Baptist Church. Research indicated that a strategic process of assimilation would enhance the value of local church membership. This method of generalized minstry reproducibility has produced sterile and ineffective churches that function in a way that is more similar to secular organizations that respond to industry trend rhat than rooted in the New Testament, reflecting the community of the Body of Christ.  The solution this situation is ministry reformation.  This project leads a church through a phase of minstry reformation as they discover their minstry purpose and identity through a shared leadership approach. The small group leaders who have served for over 4 years have experienced fatigues and burnouts.  Prior to this project, the church did not have a process to help recovering fatigued leaders.  In response to this specific need, the candidate developed and implemented a training program that included lecture, mentoring, practice of various spiritual disciplines, sharing of experiences, and positive encouragement and feedback from peers to help the small group leaders to recover from fatigues and burnouts.  This program prepared the leaders to serve the Lord with renewed strength and spiritual vigor. In the course of 3 months, participants and the candidate learned skills and attitudes to spirituality stay fresh and strong by seeking intimacy with the Lord through exercising various spiritual disciplines.
