The spproaches used in this project will train pastors in the application of biblical based strategies, taken from Luke 5:1-11, guiding these pastors in community interview, leading to strategic relationships, and providing them with tools to effectively tap into untouched and undiscovered evangelistic opportunities. Using quantitative and qualitative research methods to study the impact of the revitalization training on the participants, the researcher concluded that the hypothesis was correct.  The theological chapter studies church revitalization leaders as strategic, missionary leaders. While individuals are eager to lead, the church lacks a clear succession plan or a unique process for mentoring and coaching women seminarians as pastors to lead the denomination. Research shows that effective use of rhetoric and communication empowers women leaders to become more effective in casting vision in leading women seminarians to take the next step. This project consisted of eleven training sessions and two weekend retreats used to teach biblical humility and the ability to listen by using the formula of the Real Time Strategic Change Method. Findings revealed that the participants grew in the virtue of humility while the change in listening skills were not statistical significant. Teaching was conducted at a one-day workshop and focused on viewing church health through the lenses of God's mission, systems theory perspectives related to mission, and revitalization principles interpreted through God's mission for the church. Observations and interviews assessed how participants were impacted. The project assesses the effectiveness of the course in enhancing interfaith leadership capacities and identifies twenty characteristics required of a competent leader in this emerging field. The issue of leadership transition is becoming of more frequent concern within the local church. The continual growth in leadership turnover is causing traumatic experiences for not only the pastor in transition, but for the church congregation as well. While it is true that there exists a multitude of various resource guides, books, and strategies on the topic of leadership transition, many pastors and church congregations are still finding themselves unprepared and ill-equipped to endure a leadership transition of a pastor or ministerial leader without bearing some form of traumatic experience. The purpose of this project is to assist the local church body to be better prepared for a change in leadership by providing an effective leadership plan for a transition of leadership.
