The purpose of the organization included mission study, mission involvement, and personal and leadership development of Baptist young men of high school age. A training manual was developed which gave the theological and the psychological bases for the program. A program of instructor training was designed and conducted through a network encompassing 17 regions and 112 associations of Texas Baptist churches."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e59d8a7f-b140-41e1-9d1f-4e98aaa1d973"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132975640870912,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:11:56.136Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T00:33:14Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:14:32Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f484fe13-7738-4d96-8a92-2a9bc548cb7d","accessControl_ssim":["85839d80-1355-409e-a6c9-9ea8e0e180cc"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Safe teams: development, implementation, and evaluation of a pilot for an evangelism strategy for Hispanics in Florida"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T00:33:13Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:06:50Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["316408f5-e000-4b9a-b595-25033ee41698"],"hasLease_ssim":["bc2b6fb9-7d33-498a-b47a-1f9586f2de66"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["William Schweer"],"year_tesim":["1989"],"location_tesim":["Florida"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Eliu Camacho-Vazquez"],"publisher_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Leadership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Church history","Southern Baptist Convention","Hispanic Americans--Missions","Hispanic Americans"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The influx of Hispanics to the state of Florida continues to increase. The project recognized that the campus community can become the training ground for future leadership in the local church. The theological foundation for the project was based upon God's gifting of individuals and their subsequent service in the body of Christ, taken from Ephesians 4:11-13. The project utilized a series of questions that enabled the student leaders to evaluate themselves, their group, and their peers in the areas of task accomplishment and personal development. Student leaders entered into a covenant relationship with the project director to accomplish this task and to develop personally. Measuring instruments, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and FIRO-B, were used to provide a profile of each individual involved in the project. Various evaluations concluded the 18-month project that took place at the University of Washington in Seattle. The project resulted in the production of a manual to be used annually to assist campus ministers in developing student leaders."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["e59d8a7f-b140-41e1-9d1f-4e98aaa1d973"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132328151482368,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:01:38.643Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":781,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
