The project instructs worship leaders and congregations in the overall theology of baptism and how to express that theology through the design and implementation of a baptismal liturgy.  The project was implemented in two phases.  The first was an eight-week study of the institution, meanings, and practice of baptism. The second phase was to design and implement a baptismal liturgy that focused on the celebration of baptism as an act of worship. The importance of meals, of family, and evidence for the early Christian practice of extending Holy Communion into homes are discussed.
