The study employed qualitative research methods and used a semi-structured protocol to interview six demographically diverse pastors. Through utilization of the practical theology method and qualitative research methods, the author correlated the Christian tradition, theological scholarship, the lived experiences of the people, and his experience in ministry, and proposed a liturgical inculturation of the eucharistic celebration. An integral faith formation n the context of Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) is offered consisting of such elements as pakikisalo kay Jesus (partaking of Jesus's life), and pagsasalo sa jhapag ng kagandahang loop ng Diyos through pagsalo (partaking in God's bountiful banquet of grace through the exercise of collective responsibility, solidarity, and communion). This proposed program intends to contribute to the realization of the vision of the Philippine church--a 'Community of Christ's Disciples' and a 'Church of the Poor', actively engaged in the mission of 'renewed integral evangelization.' The degree of increase in the area of spirituality within the group was measured by two assessment surveys -- a pre-project survey and a post-project survey. The project culminated with the submission of art projects created by the participants through assistance of spiritual disciplines. The most prominent finding was that participants recognized the God moments in their lives. This project focuses on three congregations and how they responded to the inclusion of popular culture in worship and small group studies. This report surveys three churches that engaged popular culture as a lens through which to encounter God and a way to see God active in the world around them.
