Assisting in building happy marriages and developing effective communication skills were the goals of this project.  The project methodology included interviews, lectures, group discussions, and questionnaires on financial management, sex, individual differences, and marital strengths and weaknesses. This occurred during the seven-week project with nine couples.  Examination of post evaulation data indicates goals were reached. There are studies of counseling theories, case work, and theological reflection.  It is written with the intention of helping those people who come for marriage and family counseling to reduce the damage and distortions in their relationships, and build up more healthy marital and familial behaviors in orientation towards further spiritual growth and maturity. The tool served as a catalyst for building awareness and encouraging change. It provided a means by which couples could listen to each other concerning their shared needs and aspirations for marriage. At the outset of the project it was anticipated that couples would experience an increase in their level of marriage satisfaction. This proved not to be true in the manner expected.
