The goal is for professional clergy to identify, mentor and elevate women and men through a clergy apprenticeship and into transformational leadership. A panel of experienced clergy evaluated the model. The results indicated that the Mentoring Model was most successful as a catalyst for structuring the process. The results also indicate the presence of a prevailing impact on the Kingdom of God. Administered by a denomination, the process helps clarify the group's agenda and thrust, further tightening loyalty to the association of churches.  The foundational basis for the mentoring is drawn from Scripture as well as related literature.  An approach is drawn and a mentor agenda is suggested with themes drawn from a survey of ministers as to which topics need emphasizing and suitable for mentoring moments. The research consisted of interviews with sixteen church planters who had been mentored and had planted at least one reproducing church.  The findings revealed that subjects viewed their mentoring relationships as a key component in their preparation for church planting and an important factor in their decision to plant a reproducing church.
