Sermons and a survey drafted by the researcher served as the basis for determining their fulfillment level. Employing the qualitative surveys and questionnaires, they were able to express their fulfillment levels. Consequently, the study revealed that the majority expressed fulfillment in their respective roles. The hypothesis was that associate ministers lacked mentoring and training in the area of ministry. To accomplish this goal, five instructional classes were taught on mentoring and training for associate ministers. Pre- and post-test results of the instructional classes showed that the associate ministers were untrained and improperly mentored. From the literature she studied historical, theological, psychological, socio-political and economic factors.  The author's field research includes a leadership survey and a related case study for peer discussion groups on a focus group of twenty-five Black Christian female respondents who are leaders or emerging leaders.  She presents a theological context of women walking in calling and potential as kings and priests unto God who practice and administer a biblical framework of social justice and fairness in their respective spheres of influence. She concludes that Black women have made great strides but there are many areas in life that continue to have only token expressions, if that, of Black women. This project describes the organization and execution of a discipling ministry as one part of an overall campus ministry effort in a Christian college.  The purpose of the campus discipling ministry was to strengthen and nurture the spiritual formation of students.  Eighty students who had participated in the formal discipling ministry completed Likert assessment tools.  The data was compiled and analyzed, discovering the strengths and weaknesses of the student discipling experience. Research of published material reviewed statistical reports, dissertations, published works, and internet sources. These were scrutinized in conjunction with surveys and subsequent interviews with ministers in transition and denominational officials.  Prevention and intervention strategies were evaluated, resulting in recommendations to bring healing to and reintegration of pastors into career ministry.  Emphasis is placed on a mentor/friend relationship to guide both minister and family through the transition. The equipping program model was utilized in this project.  Project participants took a pre-test to determine the level of their knowledge of deacon ministry, their understanding of the biblical qualities of a deacon's life, and their comfort level if they were to be chosen as a deacon.
