We believe God has equipped us to do work to this end, through local churches. What is often lacking is awareness of the divine call to specific areas of service. I used individual interviews, asking people about their experience in service and any sense of divine guidance, and followed each interview with an online assessment of spiritual gifts. There clearly is a correlation between service, divine guidance, and spiritual gifts. During the past decade, at SAUMC, the need to reach the next generation has reached a critical point. The community around the church holds multiple mosaic identities which identifies which were utilized in developing the strategy to reach this narrowed demographic. Current literature on the topic and strategic planning assist in identifying key methodologies St. Andrew's can implement. The millennial generation desires a church that reflects ancient aspects while blending contemporary distinctiveness. This change in ministry thinking, style, and context provides the church with the perfect opportunity to evolve. This project identifies strategies utilized by churches that are successfully reaching the largest and most unchurched population in the United States. Using an impact study, attitudes towards communion and missions were measured before and after a six-week period of weekly celebration of communion in worship and three mission experiences of the small group. Organizational structure means the formal and informal framework of policies within which an organization arranges its lines of authority and communication. United Methodist worship was studied in classes held with the pastors and laity of Gompa District followed with evaluations.  Other venues included Sunday School classes, Bible studies, focus groups and interviews. She used qualitative triangulation data to develop and test the course 'Women in Ministry'. Although women represented over 50% of the church's membership, findings revealed cultural/traditional socialization and lack of finances impeded their advancement. The pilot stimulated awareness, transformed participants' perceptions and aptitude. A catechesis in community outlines a method to assist local churches that are struggling to find their place in post-modern society. Youth and church administrators were surveyed concerning their personal beliefs, perception of the church's inclusion of young people, spiritual formation and Christian education within the church. A definition of discipleship was developed based on Jesus' model, history and current cultural realities. Eucharistic themes and practice were explored theologically and historically with an emphasis on a Wesleyan world view. The model presented in this study is that discipleship is to be the channel through which the themes of the eucharist are introduced into a believer's life.
