It examines the various Christian attitudes toward war (crusades, pacifism, just-war, and nuclear pacifism).  The report outlines historical, biblical, and theological bases for the various Christian responses.  Methodology includes research, teaching five fifty-minute seminary classes, written evaluations by students and an official observer, and critical reflective action.  The project shows positive results, raises interesting questions, and highlights some moral ethical implications for future study and Christian action. The first hypothesis, that there would be significant disagreement (defined as 15 percentage points) between the chaplains and civilian clergy on the issues surveyed, was proven false.  The data did support the second hypothesis, which stated that chaplains would be more informed than the civilian clergy on questions involving the chaplain-denominational relationship. The author examines the biblical and theological mandate for mission as this mandate applies to the Air Force chaplaincy.  He compares a variety of methodologies, including church growth materials.  The author concludes that the military chapel community is part of the body of Christ and has the obligation and opportunity to witness. This project studies this decrease through a review of the history of the Korean military chaplaincy.  It uses questionnaires to discover the current conditions in the military chaplaincy and adapts this information to the situation in the PCK.
