A church with less than 10 per cent growth over five years becomes ineffective. However, a church that strives for both qualitative and quantitative growth will continue making useful disciples. This project's methodology was both practical and theological as the church evaluated where it was and where it needed to be.  Physical and spiritual growth occurred as the people examined biblically why they should grow.  This examination included Bible studies on the church's nature and mission as well as preaching on growth principles. It is certain that the Korean church will be a faithful missionary church obeying the Great Commission. The transitional nature of the setting was defined. Project goals, methodology, and limitations were identified. Biblical and theological foundations for the church's mission were evaluated. A statement of mission purpose was adopted.  Changes in theological conceptions of the congregation were measured.  Perceptions of need by the church and community were analyzed.
