The primary research question was, 'What are the major components that contribute to member care with One Mission Society? The study used the quantitative research method. An electronic survey was given to 115 One Mission Society field-based missionaries--78 responses were received and recorded. The survey questions were developed from the precedent research. These environments hold hardships which can cause physical, psychological, spiritual, and/or ministry stresses. Mission agencies need to provide more effective pastoral care to mitigate early attrition from high-risk fields.  Qualitative methodology was used to study the expectations, stressors, coping attitudes and behaviors, and member care services received by workers. The joy and fruit of ministry far outweighed the costs and risks of service for these servants.
