The goal is to create a team process in order to provide campus missionaries encouragement, prayer, accountability, and advocacy in their ministry partner development process.  The missionaries recruit and organize launch teams to assist them in raising financial support.  The missionaries implement a team approach to their support development efforts. Interactive learning experiences helped participants through an understanding of God's call and how God equips believers through spiritual giving and personality type.  These newly formed teams studied attributes of effective teams to implement best practices in communication and problem solving.  The missionaries became aware of ways personality impacts the behaviors and attitudes of themselves and their teammates.  Seven participants discovered new spiritual gifts and the majority of the group grew in confidence as to how their spiritual gifts could be used in a church plant setting.  The missionaries became more confident in team-based ministry.  the missionaries emerged knowing the gifting and personality strengths of teammates and with goals to make their teams more effective. The resource helps volunteer missionaries examine and apply studies of educational learning theories, cultural challenges, and climatic obstacles. This training manual also provides information regarding the histories and effects of major missionary influences of the region's past.Evaluations reported that the manual provided an adequate summary of historic mission endeavors in Alaska's panhandle.
