Many current Islamic regimes have been destabilized contributing to Muslims experiencing cognitive dissonance, disillusionment and despair. Christians now have the opportunity and urgent commission to witness to Muslims on their block, at their workplace, attending schools with their children, and attending universities. The scale of the upheaval in Islam demands an all-Church emergency mobilization training effort to fast track Church engagement with Muslims.Evangelical leaders that I have worked with my whole ministry career are asking for Biblically faithful training for evangelism and missions. Many existing courses on Islam commend highly contextualized methodologies, dynamic equivalent models, peacemaking and friendship. They do not teach the fundamentals of evangelism, of communicating the Gospel for the conversion of Muslims from Islam to Christianity. The methods of research employed are narrative inquiry in collaborative action research with colleagues having vast experience in missions, evangelism, apologetics and discipling Muslim people. Epistles of Paul"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Although independent Baptist pastoral training institutions have served the Spanish-speaking church in Latin America for decades, most have become stagnated in academic development and institutional advancement.  The purpose of this study was to develop a strategic plan that will encourage these institutions to pursue an accreditation model.  This study identified five impediments to this pursuit. 1.         Insufficient academic preparation of professors2.         Excessive government restrictions3.         Poor economic situation in country4.         Lack of interest/Lack of knowledge of benefits5.         Low academic level of studentsThis quantitative data was obtained through a Delphi survey of twenty-two individuals from three distinct subgroups: (1) Independent Baptist missionaries actively involved in pastoral training in Spanish-speaking Latin America, (2) Independent Baptist Hispanic pastors or professors who were trained in Latin America and who retain involvement in this ministry, and (3) Independent Baptist theological educators who have experience with the accreditation process.  Through the Delphi survey the participants suggested the above-mentioned impediments to the pursuit of an accreditation model.  The Delphi expert panel also provided qualitative data by sharing additional insight into the nature of the impediments through comments made within the survey and personal conversations with the author.Once the five impediments had been identified a Delphi support team worked with the author to develop a strategic plan to address each impediment.  Specific goals were set, and action steps were identified. They studied Christ's discipleship in Matthew's gospel and reflected on the missio Dei, God's missionary character and initiative to redeem his creation.They partnered with agencies to initiate community service. The project consisted of intentional education, research and analysis of the intersections of evangelism, Family Systems Theory, Reformed theology, cultural exegesis, and Christian missiology, and used these understandings to explore and analyze growing Presbyterian (PCUSA) congregations in the American West.
