Using descriptive research methodology, twelve missions-active churches were selected for analysis, and case studies were written so that other churches could learn from their example. Pastors and missions leadership teams were primary factors motivating these churches. Missions champions involve others in communicating God's heart for all peoples. Missions education shapes the church culture through multigenerational learning experiences. Missions-active churches are prayerful, supportive and sending churches. For effective short-term mission trips, a theological foundation towards the mission should be established and detailed manuals are essential. Therefore, the research has been based on the theological foundation of the 'Konvivenz Mission'.  And hence a short-term mission trip manual has been compiled. This manual hs been used to conduct a short-term mission trip at Baekwoon Church. Anonymous surveys have been done among participants. The questionnaire was focused on the changes of attitudes before and after short-term mission tips.  The results show that when the short-term mission trip was conducted using the manual presented in this paper, the 'Konvivenz Mission' has been accomplished most of the time. This ministry project was conducted in two strategic locations: Milpitas, California and Shanghai, China.  The primary objective of the seminar was for the participants to gain a greater perspective of and to discover their role in missions.  Eighteen participants provided the survey data prior to attending the seminar and twelve completed the survey data after taking a trip. This author was invited to speak at the inaugural pastor's conference hosted by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The need for a biblical pre-marital and marriage counseling manual that will equip Protestant ministers to assist people in building their marriages on the foundation of God's word was discovered through formal and informal discussions with indigenous ministers. The manual emphasizes the truth that marriage is God's creation and not solely man's institution, as propogated by the Soviet regime. Therefore the Bible is the source for identifying the purpose as well as understanding the principles for marriage. Chapters include the following teachings: the authority and sufficiency of scripture for biblical counseling, building a biblical foundation for marriage, pre-marital counseling, divorce and remarriage, and counseling for major marriage problems.
