The design is a mutually accepted document delineating the state convention's approach and plans for language missions work. Interaction took place through regular consultation by telephone, mail and fax correspondence, on-site visits, and national conferences and conventions.  As the leaders struggled to identify their God-given vision, the author encouraged them to expand their horizons by considering creative strategies and establishing significant goals. The program included training lessons to equip a prayer group and activities to involve the church.  The historical method was used to gather data on the theology of prayer.  The descriptive survey method was used to gather data on prayer ministries and prayer for missions.  The director gave pretests and posttests to evaluate changes in the group's attitudes and changes in the church's behavior. The Dalit are a typical example of the unique system of oppression in India in which socio-culturally ordained fixed groups have collectively remained in a deprived position for ages.  The Dalit movement corrects the tendencies to generalize or objectify the oppressed or poor and reveals the concrete subjectivity of the diverse sections of the oppressed, their experiences, histories and aspirations. Adventist theology (evangelism) has failed to take account of the suffering and hopes of Dalits, who form the majority of Indian Christians.  Its approach of primarily responding to the health and educational needs has not helped the Dalit aspiration in Tamil Nadu, India. It advocates the use of a cell group church-planting model as best suited to the Turkish culture. David J Hesselgrave's textbook, Today's choices for tomorrow's mission, is evaluated as being the best choice among missiological texts for Japanese Christians.  The question whether a dynamic equivalent translation is better than a formal translation is discussed.
