Twelve people from Mission Village Baptist Church were trained for one month in the subjects of evangelism, missions, and the culture and customs of Tijuana, Mexico. Then, five people spent two months making four evangelistic mission trips to Tijuana, Mexico, implementing the training they had received. The methods used in this project entailed designing an equipping and training model of evangelism to reach the non-Christians in Tijuana, Mexico. The project director wrote a 40 Days of Mission Small Group Handbook and six sermons designed to develop a passion for personal, local and global mission. Effectiveness was measured using evaluations of the sermon hearers, the small group participants, and the leaders of Grace.
