Previous SDA evangelism in Jamaica has successfully reached poor and working people, but it has been ineffective in contacting and attracting the upper classes. The project suggests that 'intentional ministries'--any social ministry, instrument, or program designed to make a deliberate impact within the local community--can be used to contact upper-class people and make personal evangelism possible. Research identifies regional planning deficiencies among northeast Brazilian evangelicals. Training compensates by emphasizing group decision-making and problem-solving models oriented to church planting and leadership needs, especially dedicated to Vacation Missionary Projects (Promifé).  Research follows biblical-theological lines, using narrative passages of both testaments.  Theoretical investigation includes leadership, management, planning, education, church planting, training through coaching and small group dynamics.  Qualitative growth is observed among students. The project analyzes seven areas of belief and practice in relation to demographic categories.  Relevant characteristics include practice of spiritual disciplines, regular responsibility in the church, contentment with church, a sense of psychological well-being, age, membership status, income level, and length of time attending the church. In these Chinese urban churches where good growth has taken place with holistic evangelization and charismatic-type pastoral leadership, fruitful urban church planting and growth in Chinese communities emerge.
