Specialization often controls the curriculum in Bible colleges and seminaries.  The apostle Paul was a missionary; he labored in a missionary context; he was 'doing mission' as he wrote his epistles. This major project explores the integration of these missiological realities with the theological in a Bible college course on the Book of Romans. The researcher studied four local churches trying to re-engage their communities through missional involvement. Interviews were conducted to gain leadership perspectives on what does and does not work and reports the results. Matthew was written to instruct the church in the teachings of Jesus and equip it to complete its task in the world. Therefore, this book has a missiological relevance to today's church. The author investigates the social context where the pastors study, specifies the theoretical bases of the course, and develops ten missionary lessons on Matthew.
