Vernon Baptist Church, West Monroe, Louisiana, to adopt an unengaged, unreached people group (UUPG). The components of the project included researching the field of missions as it relates to UUPGs, developing a seminar to train the selected members of MVBC to adopt a UUPG, and equipping the selected members of MVBC to adopt a UUPG. Experts were enlisted to help establish a standard for both research and seminar component quality. The project director's professional goals included increasing the project director's knowledge of adopting UUPGs and skills in instructional theory and curriculum design. Scripture and contemporary literature on the subject were studied, then a qualitative study collected and analyzed data from short missions done through the Village Church, Racho Santa Fe.  The data was analyzed by examining it through coding in order to derive a grounded theory of the phenomenon of short-term missions. A paradigm was formulated by integrating socio-cultural characteristics of Korean diaspora church and framework of culturally-appropriate, theologically-sound and theoretically-coherent missional ecclesiology for Korean diaspora. Eight criteria of missional ecclesiology were identified, and three ontological values were identified: to be sent by the Triune God; to represent the reign of God in the through Jesus Christ; and to be led by the Holy Spirit.
