The author analyzed data by the practical theology method of mutual critical correlation. Volunteers expressed a value for experiencing a sense of belonging, welcoming new persons onto ministry teams, experiencing a sense of shared leadership, the importance of pastoral leadership, and strong biblical motivations for ministry. It was clear from the data that missions mobilization within The Alliance is a joint effort between churches, districts, and International Ministries of the C\u0026MA. The goal was to find factors that contribute to the after-care worker's tenure. Four case studies focused on questions related to burnout, secondary trauma, support and training. Significant findings revealed issues in categories of motivation, burnout, secondary traumatic stress, vicarious victimization, compassion fatigue, self-care, support and training. After-care workers universally reported significant burnout and secondary trauma. Training, support and healthy self-care measures were found to be a contributing factor of longevity. The goal was to develop recommendations for recruiting and mobilizing among millennials for ministry to Muslims. Missiological and generational literature review determined the nature, scope and methodology for inspiring and mobilizing millennials for this specific ministry. Subsequently a survey and interview questions for person-to-person interviews, phone discussions and e-mail correspondence with millennials were produced. Results demonstrated specific preferences, strengths and weaknesses among millennials regarding ministry to Muslims. Participants described the content, mode and personnel involved in their training, and gave suggestions for improvements, most rating it adequate for what they encountered, and indicating increased interest in long-term service. Research showed that the institute was succeeding in teaching biblical knowledge. It did not succeed in motivating people to greater service in church or community. The author concluded that various factors entered into the cause of the failure.
