The author collected data on culture, leadership. orality, oral communicators, and narrative learning.  She conducted interviews to document critical incidents and develop them into stories. The heaviest criticisms are levied by those interested in 'missional' church practices. This project engages in an intentional study of mission trips through the growingly influential lens of missional theology.
