Chapter 1 lays out the framework for the overall project.  Chapter 2 focuses on the pertinent biblical passages which lay the foundation for the concepts of fairness in labor remuneration.  Chapter 3 provides an exhaustive literature review and thorough explanation of the survey instruments, control groups, existing statistical abstracts, and compensation studies encompassed in the project. Chapter 4 facilitates a cross-comparison of the compensation data for the three leader groups. Additionally, this chapter draws the project to a conclusion by allowing for an evaluation of how the comparative results mentioned above relate to the original project thesis. The focus was on whether or not there is a functional use of resources for Christian nonprofit ministries involved in the case studies. The hypotheses stated that the Christian multi-tenant nonprofit center format will be found to foster opportunities for cooperation.  Five other hypotheses focused on savings in rent, operations, and technology, and whether marketing and donation revenue increased. Given the plethora of social ills existing in African American communities in particular and urban centers in general, churches must engage in outreach ministries to effectuate change.  The 501c3 status allows church ownership of a program while receiving otherwise unavailable state, corporate, and private tax-deductible money.  Board structure is critical.  Both entities, the church and the state, must have their individual criteria met.  Housing, youth programming, and literacy are just some of the many areas which lend themselves to church-sponsored 501c3 corporations.
