Continuing that faith is a problem facing its multi-national members living in North America since the late eighteenth century. Specifically the problem centers on a single parish in Berkley, Michigan where second and third generation descendants of Middle Eastern immigrants are losing interest in the church and the cultural heritage of their parents. This project will explore ways of sharing and applying canonical aspects of the sacraments of the Orthodox Church in a parish setting. Through sacraments the faithful get closer to God and are blessed with the power of the Holy Spirit.
