The facilitator conducted six two-hour seminars on the following topics: (1) introduction of theological rationale and theoretical presuppositions, (2) exploring and understanding our own sexuality, (3) sexuality in childhood, (4) sexuality in the home, (5) values, and (6) communication skills.  The facilitator led four parent support groups to reinforce learned skills. The writer provided a thorough bibliography and extensive appendices. Mennonite students who attend Mennonite colleges are very likely to be involved in the Mennonite Church as adults. Lower enrollments affects the future church.  The author developed a pro-active methodology to increase the level of involvement on Mennonite parents in the college choice decision of their children. The changes that take place during the adolescent years affect not only the adolescent but the parents as well.  This project will equip parents to face the often turbulent adolescent years with confidence.  The project will be accomplished by enlisting parents to meet once a week over a period of ten weeks for one hour each time.  Parents will demonstrate their understanding of some of the issues that confront adolescents and parents during the adolescent years.  This will be accomplished by identifying areas of need in their own family, understanding the roles and responsibilities of training adolescents, discovering ways of improving the parent/adolescent relationship, and by evaluating parental influence in the home. The adolescents of the parents in the control group will also be involved in a separate three week session.
