In order to rehabilitate the church and to help all the members of the church to grow to the fullness of Christ, we have to fight against a lot of difficulties. We need a ministry essence and steady ministry philosophy which our Lord has taught us if we want to go through all the spiritual fights. Rather than following the trends, but to hold on to the essence would make out a good result. The responsibility of a minister is not to stay in an honored place, but to serve church members to let them perform their own parts well. This model is based on a feminist/liberationist interpretation of the life and ministry of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels. It incorporates the learning of 'new science' and values interconnectedness over individualism. The experience of pastoral leaders and their congregations is illustrative of how the model works, with many examples and experiences offered which show the benefits and the struggles of this type of ministry."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799721437048602624,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:21:51.199Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T05:16:44Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:11:55Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"3a9c39eb-4f49-4e17-94b3-c66132970097","accessControl_ssim":["66b93813-095f-4ef2-8727-0449781a208e"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Cultivating habits of wholeness: a case study of partnership in the church"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T05:16:44Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-16T23:49:57Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["c9678ea3-81dd-4c8b-ba96-e6cd2dd45cfe"],"hasLease_ssim":["8ad443f4-92fe-44d8-8ab8-ea3963061f76"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Gary E Peluso-Verdend"],"year_tesim":["1996"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Sharon E Watkins"],"publisher_tesim":["Phillips Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Partnership--Religious aspects--Christianity","Planning","Theological seminaries--Cooperation","Russell, Letty Mandeville","Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project studies creation of a pilot project in ministerial formation. Beyond the original model, leadership that assured participation by all was important. Clear lines of accountability, communication, and decision-making when planners reached the limits of institutional possibilities were also crucial.
