Following the development of a church-specific version of plannaging manuals, selected clergy were trained as trainers who in turn trained one hundred fifty pastors throughout New England in the use of plannaging.  This training enabled these pastors to use plannaging in their personal and professional life. This project tested the hypothesis by means of a series of planning sessions designed around major points of Barth's ecclesiology.  Each of these sessions consisted of lessons on the nature and mission of the church followed by periods of program analysis and planning.
