These findings do not substantiate the need for a postmodern reformation in campus ministry."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["63ab0f5c-c5fb-460c-b8ba-dd2fd91f7145"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133747322552320,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:24:12.070Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:12:34Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:18:07Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"b4ad1da8-2c0b-4383-bb70-6de78d832e1b","accessControl_ssim":["9455c31e-dc35-4af8-9022-6591b148d846"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Creating community in a post-Christian age: drama speaks to faith: themes of alienation and community in a postmodern culture"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:12:33Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T03:20:59Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["271f4beb-d748-48e4-aad6-6308139a4bed"],"hasLease_ssim":["5966cb2d-016c-47f4-9aab-de828593f0bf"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Fredericka Berger"],"year_tesim":["2002"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. In this thesis paper, contemporary drama is discussed with themes of alienation and community in our postmodern culture. The author led an adult class in Christian Education in reading and discussing contemporary plays over a period of eight weeks. Participants were encouraged through drama to engage personal faith and the community of the church. Characters in the plays and the plot were integral to the discussion. The result was a deeper understanding of the significance of community in a world that is often lonely, through eyes of faith."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791125818246692864,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:18:10.314Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:11:06Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:50:02Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"a0ad30d2-a01c-4b0b-a95e-eb83191f0425","accessControl_ssim":["ae06006f-7845-4aa6-82cc-675fb36ef6a3"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Postmodernism and its contextual implications on single adult ministry"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:11:05Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:49:03Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["2d236717-27cd-4b69-994a-63f6f3cc12aa"],"hasLease_ssim":["1b5f4fe4-7f6b-41fe-8019-c04bf522820c"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Jerry Pounds"],"year_tesim":["2002"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Perry K Bearden"],"publisher_tesim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Postmodernism","Church work with single people"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of the project was to provide a scholarly base of research to aid in the understanding of some of the foundational elements of theology and history, the biblical issues of ministry, and the effects of postmodernism on each, in order to determine what effective ministry to single adults living in a postmodern era is to resemble.
