It outlines a replicable process which identified local causes of hunger through a series of interviews and coaching with local food pantry participants. These participants were then connected with available community resources that could help alleviate their cause of hunger leading to transformed lives. The process was replicated or considered at different levels in five additional local church settings. Circles, a program of Move the Mountain, initiates changes in the community that result in eliminating barriers to economic stability. The Circles model partners families in poverty with United Methodist church members so they can work together to end poverty. This project compares the socio-economic condition of the families in poverty prior to enrollment and six months later.
