If people would focus their prayer lives on evangelism, would they become instruments of good news to others?  Using Terry Tekyl's Personal Prayer-Evangelism Guide in a Sunday school program, participants were asked to pray daily.  To measure evangelistic change, participants answered a questionnaire, once initially, another after the study, and the last twelve weeks later. Positive changes were seen in participants' prayer habits, attitudes, and evangelistic activities. A significant increase in the practice of intercessory prayer was noted in both the congregation and the class. The author conducted an extensive personal study of the subject utilizing both technical and devotional sources.  During the ten-week project duration, the author preached sermons and led a task force of ten persons in a weekly, intensive study of prayer.  The disciplined practice of prayer increased in the church. The project design included a prayer workbook used by participants and instruments used by the author and clergy evaluators in making observations of participant responses.
