The author also observed the need of training of biographical preaching among Chinese pastors in Toronto through a survey he conducted. The author believes that genre sensitivity will enhance biographical preaching among pastors. He also conducted a workshop under this project for some Chinese pastors in Toronto, helping his fellow pastors preach biographical sermons faithfully and effectively. It is God's intention to see his followers transformed into the image of his Son. One of the methods he has chosen to use to realize this spiritual life-change is the preaching of his Word. But preachers have to make sure they are committed to life-changing sermons and not merely an informational exchange. Sermons are meant to bring transformation, not simply inform people of what a biblical text is saying. Many ministries have wholeheartedly embraced Internet technology through websites, blogs, live chats and a myriad of other applications. While thoughtful people have offered biblical perspective both endorsing and warning against this trend, there continues to be much need to carefully think about how new technologies can come alongside various aspects of ministry in a way that maximizes their benefits and minimizes their inherent dangers. This project explores how the Internet can enhance the impact of a preaching ministry by providing a forum to discuss the content of a sermon after it has been delivered. The research proves Whitefield's doctrinal preaching content was a primary factor for why God used him so mightily in the Great Awakening era and beyond contrary to common misinterpretations for his success. A six-week preaching series presented the six principles to our church and included evaluative surveys analyzed in this project. Upon determination of those effective preaching principles, the project director developed a series of four sermons. The project director began this project by studying relevant works that address how to develop rapport when preaching to teenagers. After interviewing teenagers and itinerant communicators, the project director identified three preaching techniques that communicators can use to develop rapport with unacquainted teenage audiences. Persuasive preaching's goal is to convince the listener to align his or her attitude and action with the message of the sermon. This study seeks to discover a paradigm for this. The praxis director chose twelve individuals to participate in surveys and interviews. The director preached a series of four sermons focused on one general theme. After the sermon series, the director conducted a ministry program directly connected to the theme of the sermon series. Participants in the podcast project were members of the writer's own parish. The podcasts were specifically produced in relationship to homilies delivered in the local parish church. The project utilized a qualitative method of study taking weekly written survey reactions from participants and face-to-face exit interviews at the project conclusion. Participants were very positive toward the experience and found it enriching. In exit interviews they also offered solid critique for improvement and creative suggestions for future
