Fifteen qualified people from the congregation evaluated the project by means of questionnaires, personal interviews, and group interviews. This project is based on a theological conviction that the gospel is the center of the story of the Bible. It argues, therefore, that preaching the gospel and expository preaching must not be separated. This thesis examines the obvious pattern of God's redemptive history that unites both the Old Testament and the New Testament. The lesson plan is stimulated by recent literature in hermeneutics and homiletics. The study employed a qualitative research design and a semi-structured interview protocol, utilizing interviews with six pastors. The researcher found that a christocentric worldview was comprised of the unified story of God's redemption of his creation, motivation and empowerment by Christ in the Christian life, transformation at the heart level, and participation in God's restoration of man's relationship with God, others, and the creation. In addition, preaching as a communication method is questioned pragmatically, but trusted in a spiritual sense. Also, primary hindrances include challenges of alternative worldview stories, fragmentary hearing, and disconnected preachers. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore how pastors use vulnerability in sermons to build the congregation's trust in their leadership. This study utilized a qualitative design with semi-structured interviews with six Reformed pastors with the primary preaching responsibility in their churches in the southeastern United States. Analysis of the literature and interview data examined how pastors assess the use of vulnerability in their sermons, how pastors perceive the relationship between preaching and trust, and how pastors determine the limits of vulnerability in their sermons to build trust in leadership. The researcher conducted a literature review of homileticians, public speaking experts, and Bible commentators to investigate the problem of PSA and what can be done about it. Additionally, qualitative research was conducted in which the researcher interviewed experienced preachers who have suffered the symptoms of PSA and have experienced improvement in their condition. The purpose of this study was to explore how preachers use evaluation for understanding how pastoral relationships influence preaching. The study followed a qualitative research method, utilizing semi-structured interviews with six pastors, analyzed in a constant comparative method. The research explored perceptions of the pastoral relationship, evaluation, emotional intelligence, and ongoing sermon preparation. Pastors need to integrate preaching into their own Christian discipleship in order for preaching to have an impact on their congregation. Through this project I propose that preaching can enhance the Christian discipleship of the pastor through the use of Incarnational Exegesis, EPIC, Authentic and Integrated Preaching. In doing so, the pastor's development in Christian discipleship will make his preaching more impactful for the
