The people who will find this project most beneficial will be young men in ministry who have not been able to attend a Christian college or seminary, men who are called to preach later in life, bi-vocational pastors, and laymen who have opportunity to preach occasionally.  A second group of people who will benefit is those to whom these men minister on a regular basis.  The project was accomplished by contracting with a group of about ten interested men to meet once a week over a period of ten weeks for two-hour sessions. Evaluation was made of the current practice of preaching in worship in the congregation served by the project writer, and, by use of a survey in other churches in Canada. Principles were developed for integrating preaching and worship more effectively. The project gathered a group of pastors who: 1) identified their primary modality for receiving and processing information; 2) became aware of other modalities; and 3) attempted to compose and deliver sermons which addressed all three types of sensory dominance among the people of their congregations.  Neurolinguistic programming and modality strengths from the fields of therapy and education were the springboards for the overall dissertation.
