Schleiermacher, Barth, Bultmann, Tillich and Moltmann are considered as most important from theological literature.  Freud, Jung, Frankl, Maslow, Rogers and May are the psychologists discussed.  A case presentation is utilized to allow an interpretation of theological and psychological constructs.  Specific conclusions and implications are drawn for pastoral care, theological education, church ministry and lay application. Specific concepts used are the collective unconscious, symbol, archetype, individuation, and the Christ symbol.  The interplay of Jungian psychology, theology, and scripture form the hermeneutic.  The concept of miracle and trends in wholistic medicine are briefly considered.
