The acknowledgment of a 'paralysis' is the first movement toward healing. The methodologies used to achieve these goals were pretests, posttests, questionnaires, and qualitative research data. The project consisted of four ninety-minute sessions which focused on renewed energy and change. At the conclusion of the four weeks, all the persons demonstrated an increased movement toward wholeness."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["United Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["f0f9c284-37b6-440c-96ab-39e6509e82ee"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127562723786752,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:45:53.977Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:52:54Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:02:08Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"8cc6ebee-54cd-45f4-b993-664df781e7f7","accessControl_ssim":["251742b5-decd-4f17-94df-26995e3114ac"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Disaster relief chaplaincy for community clergy"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:52:53Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T02:15:38Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["022a6d40-135c-4fad-b4a9-3efe13d9cc7c"],"hasLease_ssim":["92588c44-bcb1-4760-8a24-4bc6e2ea249f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Ronald Hornecker"],"year_tesim":["2003"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Naomi Kohatsu Paget"],"keyword_tesim":["Church and community","Crisis (Psychology)"],"publisher_tesim":["Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Disasters--Psychological aspects","Chaplains","Psychology"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["The purpose of this project is to equip community clergy with basic knowledge and skills to provide initial crisis ministry interventions during disaster relief psychotrauma in the context of cultural and religious diversity. Guided imagery prayer can heal the shame women feel. The process used was a spiritual retreat for women. They were led in guided imagery meditations of four healing stories of Jesus: the healing of the bent-over woman (Luke 13:10-17); the healing of Jairus' daughter (Mark 5:21-24a,35-43); the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years (Mark 5:24-34); and the woman at the well (John 4:4-30). After each exercise they participated in a discussion about their experience. The retreat was a positive experience for each woman. Some of them felt healing that day. Few of them continued to use the meditations by themselves after the retreat. Shame can be healed through guided imagery prayer."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Andover Newton Theological School"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["63ab0f5c-c5fb-460c-b8ba-dd2fd91f7145"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791133029740052480,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:12:47.730Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Resource Type"},{"name":"creator_sim","items":[{"value":"Joyce Marie Williams","hits":1,"label":"Joyce Marie Williams"},{"value":"Mary Elizabeth Sarhatt","hits":1,"label":"Mary Elizabeth Sarhatt"},{"value":"Naomi Kohatsu Paget","hits":1,"label":"Naomi Kohatsu Paget"}],"label":"Creator Sim"},{"name":"contributor_sim","items":[],"label":"Contributor"},{"name":"keyword_sim","items":[{"value":"Crisis (Psychology)","hits":2,"label":"Crisis (Psychology)"},{"value":"Church and community","hits":1,"label":"Church and community"}],"label":"Keyword"},{"name":"subject_sim","items":[{"value":"Psychology","hits":3,"label":"Psychology"},{"value":"Chaplains","hits":1,"label":"Chaplains"},{"value":"Cross Creek Community Church (Centerville, Ohio)","hits":1,"label":"Cross Creek Community Church (Centerville, Ohio)"},{"value":"Disasters--Psychological aspects","hits":1,"label":"Disasters--Psychological aspects"},{"value":"Jesus Christ","hits":1,"label":"Jesus Christ"},{"value":"Jesus Christ--Attitude towards women","hits":1,"label":"Jesus Christ--Attitude towards women"}],"label":"Subject"},{"name":"location_sim","items":[],"label":"Location"},{"name":"language_sim","items":[{"value":"English","hits":3,"label":"English"}],"label":"Language"},{"name":"publisher_sim","items":[{"value":"Andover Newton Theological School","hits":1,"label":"Andover Newton Theological School"},{"value":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"},{"value":"United Theological Seminary (OH)","hits":1,"label":"United Theological Seminary (OH)"}],"label":"Publisher"},{"name":"date_created_sim","items":[],"label":"Date Created"},{"name":"types_sim","items":[{"value":"Text","hits":3,"label":"Text"}],"label":"Type"},{"name":"year_sim","items":[{"value":"2003","hits":3,"label":"2003"}],"label":"Year"},{"name":"format_sim","items":[],"label":"Format"},{"name":"member_of_collections_ssim","items":[{"value":"Andover Newton Theological School","hits":1,"label":"Andover Newton Theological School"},{"value":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"},{"value":"United Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"United Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Collections"},{"name":"degree_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":3,"label":"Unknown"}],"label":"Degree"},{"name":"discipline_sim","items":[],"label":"Discipline"},{"name":"degree_granting_institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Andover Newton Theological School","hits":1,"label":"Andover Newton Theological School"},{"value":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary"},{"value":"United Theological Seminary","hits":1,"label":"United Theological Seminary"}],"label":"Degree Granting Institution"},{"name":"department_sim","items":[],"label":"Department"},{"name":"funder_name_sim","items":[],"label":"Funder Name"},{"name":"event_title_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Title"},{"name":"event_date_sim","items":[],"label":"Event Date"},{"name":"institution_sim","items":[{"value":"Atla RIM","hits":3,"label":"Atla RIM"}],"label":"Host Institution"}],"pages":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"limit_value":10,"offset_value":0,"total_count":3,"first_page?":true,"last_page?":true}}}
