At Trinity Church (Aurora, Ontario, Canada), as with most Anglican churches, spiritual formation has been through corporate worship and private devotions. Laity do not tend to speak about the spiritual experience and consequently can lack confidence in spiritual leadership. The researcher employed a case study and grounded theory approach to examine the current 'postmodern' culture which has shaped the outlook and opinions of today's 20-somethings, particularly their attitudes toward spiritual matters and Christianity.
