The inquiry built on the common ground for unity, offered an experience of cohesion for the leaders, facilitated relationship building and unveiled a story of their church in new light. It showed that Appreciative Inquiry can be an effective means for crossing sub-group boundaries and intercultural barriers. I enlisted a group of older adults for an eight-session ministry experience who learned about missions, evangelism, prayerwalking, and Pima culture then served as missionaries thorugh an evangelistic event. The project director identified key components of spiritual development in regard to ministry leaders and volunteers. This project examined academic standards of spiritual formation. The project director selected a strategy team that assisted in the development of the plan for Central Baptist Church. The strategy accomplished four primary goals. The project director inspected the current state of spiritual formation as well  as academic standards in the area of spiritual formation. The research, as well as interviews with the principal ministry leaders, aided in the development of a spiritual formation strategy that the team developed and presented to the staff of Central Baptist Church for approval and/or endorsement, The project director engaged multiple methods of evaluation including expert evaluation, research, and surveys. The  project director enlisted the participation of twenty two adults from the congregation. The participants were then taught using a curriculum on henneneutic methodology written by the project director. The equipping class consisted of eight sessions taught on consecutive Monday evenings and focused on the essential methods of the observation, interpretation and application of Scripture. At Trinity Church (Aurora, Ontario, Canada), as with most Anglican churches, spiritual formation has been through corporate worship and private devotions. Laity do not tend to speak about the spiritual experience and consequently can lack confidence in spiritual leadership. The methodology is action research. Data were collected with the use of participant-observation and in-depth interview. Data were interpreted through two cycles of action research and each cycle included identifying questions, collecting data and taking possible informed action. Through these steps strategies were developed and training program designed to equip the Chinese diaspora congregations in Ukraine. Through a survey involving fourteen pastors and a seminar engaging six pastors, the author--a pastor with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)--demonstrates the effectiveness of an interactive seminar in developing balanced yet positive attitudes about psychiatric medications. Mapes' argument focuses on the medical, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of psychiatric disorders, presenting psychopharmacology as the 'way of Naaman' and yet as an essential
