This report describes the diversity within the district which was the setting for this project.  The biblical and theological foundations for the project. The biblical and theological foundations for the project are shared.  A detailed description of the workshop and the methodologies used are given. In the first workshop, the target group gathered to experience a process of theological reflection on the mysteries of God, Jesus, church and ministry, with an aim to gain an appreciation for pluralism and diversity.  The second workshop was on the development of communication skills (empathetic listening and assertive self-disclosure as vehicles to becoming collaborative).  The Whitehead method of experience in dialogue with the culture and tradition predominated. This project/thesis tested the hypothesis that ministering in an environment of religious pluralism causes the minister's theology to become more inclusive.  Four theological models for understanding religious pluralism were developed.  The models were then used with both a reflection group and a survey to test the hypothesis in the context of the Navy Chaplain Corps.  The data suggests that the hypothesis is often true.
