Through a retreat, individuals engage in contemplative creative expression as a tool for spiritual formation and transformation. Working in collaboration with JustPeace, the United Methodist's Center for Mediation and Conflict Transformation, the retreat model was reviewed by the organization for use in the work of transforming congregational conflict. The method of study is a systematic analysis of every facet and/or component that constitutes the total setting of crisis conflict.  The conflict resolution methodology is dialogical interaction between the various components within the contextual setting.  The conclusion reached in the study is that this approach to conflict management in the congregational setting is viable and
