Interaction took place through regular consultation by telephone, mail and fax correspondence, on-site visits, and national conferences and conventions. The project will be accomplished with the help of an ad-hoc committee of 10 persons serving as the 'Trust Creation Task Force.'  The task force will propose a funding policy to be officially approved by the board of directors of the Foundation.  Corresponding procedures will be graphically represented and adopted by the Foundation administration to be included in the staff procedure manual. The research was intended to show trends and attitudes.  The study began with the premise that Southern Baptist theology and praxis holds a rigid view of divorce when applied to pastors and fails to allow for divorce for any cause other than adultery.  The research consisted of interviews, letters, questionnaires, books, articles, and tapes.  The study was limited to the preaching pastor only.  Respondents as a consensus offered little encouragement to the divorced pastor returning to the pulpit.  There was a strong indication that pastors in the Southern Baptist Convention are taking a more moderate view toward divorced persons in their congregations. Because Baptist missionary work started in Korea much later than other denominations, many of the Korean Southern Baptist church leaders come from non-Baptist evangelical backgrounds.  As a result, many of them are continuing practices of their old denomination under the name of Baptists.  These leaders need orientation and training to the Southern Baptist denomination.  The pastors and the church leaders who engaged in the project were trained and motivated to use the manual to increase their understanding of Southern Baptist distinctives, its programs in a local church, the denominational agencies and their missions. The purpose was accomplished by researching previously established support groups, biblical foundations for ministerial support, and historical precedence.  The research was condensed, structured and presented to selected trainees who would possibly become facilitators of local ministerial support groups.  Positive results have been established by six of the trainees.
